Lufthansa connecting flights help please
Flying business class in August JFK to Catania, Sicily and have to connect.
These are my choices:
- Flying Airbus LH401, A340-600A landing in Frankfurt at 7am with 1 hr 20 min layover to LH308
- Flying Airbus LH411, A380-800 landing in Munich at 9 am with a 1 hr 30 min layover to LH1906
- Flying LH405 Airbus A340-300 landing in Frankfurt at 11:45 am with a 2 hr 10 min layover connecting to LH306
I am currently booked on flight LH405, the last flight listed, because of the longer layover time since my thoughts are that JFK/NYC has summer thunderstorms.
As I am a refundable ticket I can still change my outbound flight.
Thoughts please as to what flight I should take, given different aircraft and cabin sizes, different layover cities, and different landing times.I’m not sure how much time is needed to connect in these cities.
As we are 2 people is there a difference in seating between window sides and middle seats?
