It is a testiment to how far Marriott has fallen that it suprises no one and actually to some its almost acceptable level of service, Marriott has managed to reduce their service to the gutter and devalue its points program while continuing to charge record high rates, yet people still stay and actually defend the company. Hotels know they can do what they wish as Marriott will rarely pushback against them. It is genius!!
I do wonder what J. Willard Marriott would have had to say about a situation like this, but suspect it wouldn't be pretty and it would be his own staff plus the hotel owner/management who would be on the receiving end of it!
