I was in Bali in March. I stayed one night at Alila Villa Uluwatu, 4 nights Hyatt Regency and 2 nights at Andaz Bali. I have written reviews of each on my blog (link below). Uluwatu is far - in addition to the traffic on the main roads, it is around 20 additional minutes after you leave the main roads. I used a cat 1-7 free night cert. While it is a hassle to only go there for one night, it is quite the aspirational experience so I'm glad I went. I liked both the HR and the Andaz. The Andaz is a true gem. The HR is an amazing bargain because of its Regency Lounge.

I'm planning another trip next year, but this time for a few weeks. So far, I'm holding reservations at the Alila Seminyak Studio, HR, and GH. I intend to add a few nights at the Andaz and Desa Hey in. Maybe ubud or Mangis. I'm not sure.
