I really need to start asking for a kettle in advance, that's actually a great idea. I had a funny stay at a St Regis recently where they wouldn't provide us with tea bags for free, but they would brew tea for us and bring it to the room for free. Why couldn't they just give us tea bags?! And there were none in the room obviously.
