The more I think about this the more it is just a complete fail by both Ambassador Service and the hotel. You have an Ambassador member who makes a request ahead of time for a connecting room, regardless of wording they end up not even on the same floor or close to the same floor!
It is a testiment to how far Marriott has fallen that it suprises no one and actually to some its almost acceptable level of service, Marriott has managed to reduce their service to the gutter and devalue its points program while continuing to charge record high rates, yet people still stay and actually defend the company. Hotels know they can do what they wish as Marriott will rarely pushback against them. It is genius!!
