I definitely wouldn’t say anyone should be “happy” or “content” staying at a Hyatt Place. Even prior to becoming a Globalist Hyatt Place was never good, it was bottom of the barrel. That’s been the case at every Hyatt Place I’ve stayed at even comparing them to Holiday Inn they fall short.

Hyatt House on the other hand can be nice and we’ve been happy with them as a brand overall, despite mostly being in the same categories as Hyatt Place.

As a Globalist I definitely feel compelled to stay at non-HH/HP/SLH brands but also being a budget traveler I book when rates are low or on off peak dates when staying at those other brands, so it’s about balance.
