There were things that didn't occur to me to request in advance because I thought they would be standard at the price point. They weren't. I decided to put together a list of my expectations in hopes that high end stays go more smoothly for us.

Some things on my list:
  1. Ability to plug in CPAP machine by bed
  2. Desk and chair (or table and chair; my husband must be able to work on his computer)
  3. No alcohol
  4. Ice cubes
  5. Water pot so we can make tea (which we bring with us)
  6. Tea mugs
  7. Comfortable chair
  8. Footstool or hassock or ottoman - remarkably rare; I'm always perplexed about this
  9. Walk in shower rather than shower in tub
  10. Extra pillows
  11. Level floor without steps; prefer to not be in bi level room
I'd rather have these things all sorted before we arrive, rather than scrambling the first hour or two in house.

I've only been doing this the last couple months, but it is working out well. I'm curious as to who else does this and what you include if willing to share?
(Korea Centric)
1. Humidifier (Korean HVAC systems tend to be drying in winter and summer)
2. Air purifier
3. Extra bath salts
4. Extra blanket for sofa movie watching
5. French press (I hate Nespresso)
6. 6 Extra water bottles (Hydration is key)
7. One Tempur pillow and one synthetic down

I think this is basically my PH/FS profile. Our LF worthy hotels should have no problem fulfilling your requests.
