I looked at a Patek, my favorite but the main deal breaker apart from strange provenance is their exorbitant pricing. Anywhere on Chrono24 I get the same watches either with archive register or even documents for probably half price. A good place to buy second hand brands from watches to bags is Tokyo. Almost every corner in the nicer areas has pawn shops and over there documentation is flawless. Japan is the complete opposite to Thailand. People are cultured and knowledgeable, they would never sell you a fake. They have ethics. A flight from Bkk to Haneda is around 500 rt. It’s well worth the investment.
