Excellent high end Eastern Thai food at Burapa all the way down Soi 11 across the street from the Aloft. Can make a rez. You may want to take a Tuk Tuk or taxi. Worth a visit there, and the Soi is interesting as well, lots of places to eat there. I'm sure you saw our pictures when we ate there, twice.

Little hole in the wall Egyptian place in the Arab section of Soi 3/1, Nefertiti. Look for all the chrome down the Soi on the left corner. I love the humus, the eggplant, the fresh Naan and the mixed grill thing they offer. One of my favorite places near there.

Did you go to Khao Yai yet?
