It sounds like for my $4K charge, I should try to break it into thirds. I don't know how the vendor will feel, but I can ask. However, this first month, if the credit limit would support it, I would probably hit $9K spend, and then it gets a bit harder to charge and pay off unless I'm making a payment every few days (and even then, a few of the charges might go above 30% utilization). I suppose charge and pay off is the best I can do.
