Got my dream job as a road warrior way back when until the Great Recession of 2008 had the company greatly downsize.

One of the perks that they played up was that you got to keep all the airline miles and hotel points (back when they were worth a lot more). They did not say anything, or were unaware, of the points you earned using a personal CC.

But of course this was an (unwritten) agreement between the company and myself. Personally I would not try to game the system without permission from the company (unless you don't like the job and are willing to lose it).
