Mass transit obviously is going to be cheaper when going from LGA to JFK, but it never will be faster, even when traffic is bad. It always seems like a nightmare when you're sitting in stop-and-go traffic in a taxi between the two, which is almost always the case, but it's still the most efficient way to go, at least time-wise.
