I'm doing my first BA Avios redemption for a domestic AA flight in September. DFW-DEN and return. The Avios redemption is a better value, 15k Avios per ticket, where AA is asking 22k miles for the same flights. Both options are $11.20 in taxes. Is the 15k in Avios a good deal, or should I hold out and see if it comes down at all?

I recall seeing older posts about how it is possible to get BA redemptions for as little as 7.5k Avios, but I know BA is distance based for awards. So is this the best offer I should expect for DFW-Den?
