What is your Priority Club status? Diamond Elite
Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
We booked two standard rooms with points for four nights (to receive the additional night free) At check-in one of the rooms was not ready, so the clerk mentioned they would put us into a suite. Our kids were upgraded into the Executive Suite and we were absolutely amazed to be upgraded into the Royal Suite!
How are the rooms?
Both rooms were on the 18th floor (the 19th being the Sky Bar) The Executive Suite consisted of an entry with adjacent restroom, a sitting room with views over the castle, and massage chair. The bedroom was separate with a large bathroom. The Royal Suite was vast for a Japanese hotel! There were two entrances' the main 'genkan' had an adjoining bathroom leading onto a large sitting room with sofa, desk and a 6-person dining room table. Off the room was a small utility room with sink. The bedroom was large and bright with an adjoining his/hers vanities, large showier and jetted tub as well as a luggage room

The ceilings were high and the curtains opened with a remote. There was also a complimentary newspaper(Japan Times) and bottled of water.
How is the exec. lounge?
Did not believe there was one?
What was good and what was bad?
The good: The hotel is located about 15 mins from the station on foot, or via the Loop Tram (Y210) - note you can use a Suica Card we had from Tokyo. The hotel is near the glass museum and next to the castle - plus the park where all the beautiful cherry trees were in bloom. We booked the stay with points and were
very pleasantly surprised with the upgrade, plus having the time to actually enjoy the room after a day out! The room was cleaned thoroughly each day (although it did look a little dated) plus bottled-water was replenished as well. As a Diamond Elite, we received two complimentary breakfasts each day and paid Y2300 (Approx. $17) for a couple of mornings when the kids decided they wanted to have breakfast. Breakfast was good with both western and Japanese options; the egg/omelet station was great as was the hotel-,made marmalade!
The bad: Unfortunately, we couldn't use the Food and Beverages Rewards that I had accrued.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
