For those interested in the promotion and how it applies to Protea. I had a one night paid stay at a Protea last week. I received an extra night credit and 1,000 bonus points.

I also received two elite nights for a two night points stay. Presumably that was just an error in my favor. It seems that the Protea reduction hadn't kicked in with full force yet. Points were awarded using the 5X factor, so that seems to be 'working.'
