Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?

Booked basic twin, upgraded to club king (no club access)

How are the rooms?

Nice size, very high ceilings, with canal view

How is the exec. lounge?

Did not use. Was told at check in that club access was not included,and I do not have a club pass.

What was good and what was bad?

Rooms have some nice features like windows that actually open, espresso machine, heated towel rack in the bathroom. TV had several english language stations. Chose daily breakfast as amenity, but was also given a small box of chocolates. Easy five minute walk to the Metro station, and the ride into Centrum is quick. The station also has trains to Schipol. Friendly staff.

Breakfast buffet is medicore.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?

Paid cash at what I consider a fairly high rate, but reward nights were not available and rooms everywhere in the city were either sold out or more expensive. I chose CP because the DeWitt was not available either. I would prefer to be closer to Centrum but this hotel is nice and I would stay there again.
