To let y'all know what happened, I was able to call AA customer service and they reissued my tickets at the lower price, and provided me the difference as a trip credit. The only issue... I had paid for MCE seats, and those disappeared once AA reissued my tickets. I had to repurchase the MCE seats, and AA said they would refund the charge. So that bit took extra doing. If there are any issues with the refund I'll let everyone know. It definitely took customer service a minute to figure out.
