I called BA to cancel all flights for the rest of the year due to my Wife’s recent stage 4 cancer diagnosis. They easily offered to put tickets on hold so that they could be used at a later date and it sounds like this may have happened here? BA stepped up their game for me, were very compassionate and refunded all tickets (over £4.5k)
