Is there a specific section that states this? I ask, because I coincidentally asked this very question last night to a Hyatt agent and she said it was up to the hotel -- i.e.., the dreaded "subject to availability," from the front desk.
I thought this was incorrect but I was not going to press it as she was doing me a solid on another matter.
The T&C clearly state, that Discoverists
WILL RECEIVE.... Provided it is not a resort, etc.... Plus you must be paying an eligible rate, too.
(f) 2:00 PM Late Checkout: Upon request, Discoverists will receive a 2:00 PM late checkout (local hotel time) on day of their departure at Hyatt hotels, provided that (a) late checkout is subject to availability at hotels with a casino, Hyatt resorts, and Destination by Hyatt Residences locations; and (b) late checkout is not offered at Vacation Ownership Properties.
