I booked an Amex 2-4-1 Avios one way flight from HKG-LHR online in J as soon as they became available at midnight T-355 days. I couldn't book the domestic leg of the flight (LHR-EDI) because those seats weren't available until the next day as it is an overnight flight. So I called up the Executive club when those domestic seats were available and the nice agent added the domestic sector onto my booking reference for no additional charge. He said that he would have to send the transaction off to the back office for ticketing of the domestic leg and I would be ticketed in 'the next couple of days or so'. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. I can see both flights in MMB with the flight I booked online (HKG-LHR) ticketed and the domestic add on still un-ticketed. Should I be concerned with this delay? It seems from BA Refund Helper's response to the above post that there is no delays in ticketing right now. The flights are not until 2024 so there's no desperate hurry but I was wondering how long to give it and if my LHR-EDI booking would somehow disappear if not ticketd after a period of time.
