I have been able to find very little info on this type of situation.
Some people claim I would get eCredits for less than half the trip, but no further information on how much, how they arrived to this conclusion, nor how does Delta decides how much to refund.

Anyone with some experience, post-Pandemic, has more details?
You can potentially get full credit back if you fly back from EU at some later point so that you still meet roundtrip booking requirements of original fares. Otherwise, you should expect little or nothing back on cheaper fares as they will reprice outbound as a one-way fare. You may be better off by just skipping return leg instead of cancelling it if one-way fare is higher than roundtrip fares. You can get an idea by checking current one-way fares on route. With fare basis codes (found in email receipt) and route and ticket issue date, those of us with ExpertFlyer accounts can do a historical fare search to see how they would potentially reprice it.
