I suspect you have completely missed the point of my post.

There are 200 random competition winners partaking in a (for them) unplanned trip, selected at very short notice to travel to a destination that requires relatively strict entry requirements in the midst of a passport staff strike.

I still believe many would not have a valid/current passport which would certainly impact on the ability to obtain an ESTA not to mention the possibility of some winners having previously travelled to the likes of Cuba which I can testify can and does prevent travel to the US.

Factor in current Covid entry rules and it's very likely any random 200 people plucked out of the UK population could have issues - and whether they watch Ant and Dec is irrelevant.

Of course the organisers of the trip may have ways and means to circumvent the entry requirements or be able to fast track documentation, but If highlighting potential pitfalls with the trip labels me a snob, then fair enough - that's your view and I'm fine with that!
