I'm traveling to Bangor in a couple months with the family for a 4-night stay. While I have been to Bar Harbor / Acadia (granted, this was in 2016), I have not been to Bangor yet. I did want to try a different part of Maine as I have been to PWM many, many times at this point, and while I love the town - great food, above-average beer scene, and just being an overall fun place for a short trip, I wanted to explore another part of Maine. Would be curious if folks have any recs on food in particular, but as well as if there are any strong recommendations for preschool-age kids outside of the children's museum in town (which appears to be highly-regarded).
