I dove deep into work pants over the years. Many of the locations I visit don't have A/C, but then in the same day I'm in and out of large corporations meeting with directors and executives. Versatile pants are a must.
- Lululemon ABC: Cream of the crop. Worth every penny.
- Amazon Basics: Avoid. Parachute fit.
- Denali: I think this is Sam's house brand, but not "Members Mark". Great fit, great bang-for-your-buck. But, they make a loud "whooshing" sound when they rub together. My wife says she can hear me coming 3 rooms away.
- Nike Golf: Great pants. I like the slit in the cuffs so they sit properly on athletic shoes. Becoming harder to find.
- Izod: Great if you can find them. Many stores have closed and been incorporated with VanHeusen.
- Under Armour: Great, but their slim fit is really slim. I'm too old and have too much of a "dad bod" for all that.
- Duluth Trader Flexpedition: Probably the most comfortable, fit wise. A little on the baggy side. Better for cool/mild climates.
- Southern Tide: They're more on the "dressy" end of the spectrum, but great for warmer climates where breathability is a must.
- FootJoy: Definitely more for the golfer in both fit, cost, and performance. However, right up there with Lululemon for me if cost is no object.
