That brings up an interesting question. I have a niece living in Quebec City temporarily for school, that we were thinking of visiting over Easter. I'm not a Quebec resident, but if she was with us, I wonder if they hotel would accept that for the Quebec Resident rate?
They check the address under which the booking is made, I guess you could put her address instead of yours (or have her make the booking, but then your status does not kick in). Wait until you hear about the "Amis du Château" membership for QC residents that gives you 20% off F&B everywhere at the hotel
