The obvious is of course row 23 or 45. But they do require status to pick, and unless the flight is fully booked they will not be released to non status members. (cue all of the people who in various ways got exceptions)
55 and 56 also has twin seats the window sides. Personally, I would prefer further forward rather than the twin. Then again I a more an aisle person than a window person. Row 45 is not really a window row, though when reclined it is OK.
In case I can't get 23 or 45 AC or HK then I'll go for D or G seats.
So I have OW Emerald which is maybe why the AA phone agent was able to book for me but either 23 and 45 are still blocked off or someone already has them booked. Either way I think I'll call back once a week or so leading up to the flight and see if any of them open.
