The downgraded AP rewards are the worst case. Here you can't even say that AC puts you into a cabin you paid for. Because you paid for a J cabin. Just with different currency AC decided to accept. So what will be next? Downgrading ACV bookings on sun routes because we only paid few hundred extra for the J seat and a J ticket costs almost that much as our entire package? Downgrading P and Z bookings because there are customers willing to pay for full J?
Exactly! Since Air Canada bought out aeroplan it is just been getting worse and worse. This is very frustrating. I used to be able to fly business class. No problem with my points. Now it's almost impossible to get an e upgrade or to afford the points needed for the business class.
