I'm trying to book flights for our party of 3.
But struggling trying to use the 2 x Premium Plus (PP) Companion Vouchers we have.
In summary if I try to use 1 x voucher for 3 x passengers - I can see the flights available as a result of the 'enhanced availability' but it won't let me book them as it warns you need a PP Voucher for every two travellers.
If I try to use 2 x vouchers for 3 x passengers (presuming the solo traveller would be 50% of the miles), it won't even show the flights, as it warns "minimum of 2 passengers per companion eVoucher"
So effectively with 3 passengers I can't make any use of the additional benefits from the PP Voucher.
i.e it won't access the enhanced availability, and it won't let me book the solo traveler for 50%
The only way I can see around this would to be book for 4 x passengers (inc the extra taxes) and for the 4th passenger not to turn up.
Anyone got any ideas, or tried to book 3 x passengers successfully?
Here is the exact text of the errors I'm seeing.
- To see enhanced British Airways availability for this flight, you will need to use one BA American Express Premium Plus Companion Voucher for every two travellers in this booking
- Your booking must include a minimum of 2 passengers per companion eVoucher you wish to use. Please reselect the number of passengers.
