Flew LHR-ORD yesterday afternoon, food was good, although we were slightly concerned when the crew announced nearly an hour after we were due to take off that the caterers hadn’t supplied everything needed and we were going to depart without it because otherwise the crew would be out of hours. They said soup, cheese and deserts in CW would be affected, although I saw people getting all of these things so I assume they just hadn’t loaded enough, and possibly it was the upstairs cabin that was affected as I didn’t hear them say to anyone that they had run out of anything. My daughter had a child meal, cold pasta starter, breaded chicken, mash and veg for main and the banana chocolate mousse for desert. Her light meal was a hot sandwich, bread roll and crème caramel.

the beef starter was nice to start with but still frozen in the middle, lamb main was really tasty, especially the potatoes and the mushroom quiche for the light meal was very nice too.
