Asking the crew to convert the middle seat table is recommended. Somebody did describe how to do it a while back, you'd have to search for that info though.
If there is a switch to G-GATx and 2D/F are the bulkhead seats there will be no foldable arm rests as these are fixed and contain the tray tables.
