2018 is kind of not really relevant. There was no buffet six months ago, when we last stayed there (which was on a weekend).
We really enjoyed the a la carte options - certainly much more than a generic buffet, which you can get at mid-tier Hyatts and Marriotts pretty much anywhere. The website currently shows the same menu (and no buffet):
