You can always try to ask nicely. There is no guarantee, of course, but most of the time it worked for me, I had that situation regularly in the past (4 kids).
Will do that and never had any problems with airline lounges, but with contract lounges. As soon as they offer paid access, they will try to sell that, which is fine. Only bothers me when the only option is a lounge that does not sell access and rejects children.
