Thanks for the response. I had some very rigid agents on the YouFirst Line. I found calling during regular business hours was better. I was ultimately successful changing both the short haul (unaffected) and long haul (affected) to same destination connecting through LHR. They tried to argue only the impacted segment could be changed. Thanks to the policy you provided the link for I was able to convince them given I had a single ticket (FRA-LHR-BOS) that as long as the origin, destination and connecting city was the same, the wording of the policy did not specify just the impacted segment could be changed. I did not push my luck to get the destination changed to another USA city.
