I've been using the tool extensively for the past year and I've noticed some major issues with how it reports award availability. Point.me will often throw away results from Aeroplan and it will also fail to show availability from Virgin Atlantic & Flying Blue. Typically I will see Aeroplan results show while it is searching and then throw away the findings when it gets to the final results. There was availability from LAX-SIN using Aeroplan points to book flights on SQ that would show up during the search and then get tossed on the final results page. I've also seen Delta flights from HND-LAX not even show up when there was availability on both Flyingblue and Virgin Atlantic's award search websites.

It does seem like they now allow you to open up multiple tabs to run searches on multiple dates. I think in the early months they did not allow this.
