I booked five nights starting on a Sunday in mid December for 200k points which includes the free fifth night.
When I originally booked it on Feb 13th it was 202k: 47k (Sun), 49k, 55k, 50k, 48k (Thu).
On Feb 22, it dropped to 200k which is when I rebooked it: 46k (Sun), 48k, 56k, 49k, 47k (Thu).
As of today, the rate for the same nights has drifted up to 211k: 48k (Sun), 52k, 58k, 52k, 49k (Thu).
I will try to restrain myself from these types of posts in the future, but I did want to say that this morning my 5 night award stay dropped to 190k points. That is 10k points lower than my current booking and 21k points lower than last week's pricing.
I will say that Marriott's on-line reservation system makes it extremely easy to obtain the lower award price. I am thankful that I don't have to cancel and re-book.
