Yet 10 years ago, the website was simpler because LH was not asking you to pay extra every step of your way through the booking.
In the meantime they invented charges for
  • seat booking - or making it impossible in LGT fares, even in the Checkin app
  • green fares
  • upgrades
  • bags
  • not to mention what the Allegris C and C leased from other airlines seat lottery will bring to further complicate the matter
