I'm not even sure if this is worth considering. I have a layover of a few days in Doha. I really wanted to see Saudi Arabia. I was considering a flight to Riyadh and spending two days there, before returning to Doha to continue on with my trip. I am a US citizen on a US passport. What would be the entry requirements for something like this? Is it not worthwhile to attempt for such a short time? Am I able to take advantage of one of those airline deals with the brief layover if I just book a roundtrip out of Doha?
