Food poisoning suspected

I just flew BKK-SIN, having dinner on board. Immediately afterwards, I had multiple episodes of diarrhea. My health insurance only covers ER visits overseas and therefore I did not see a doctor.

Almost 20 hours later, I flew SIN-SFO and told the FA about this. She gave me some activated charcoal pills which temporarily stopped the symptoms. So, this was the proof that I did have a dietary upset.

I originally planned a day transit trip to downtown SG. As a result of this mayhem, I was glued to the loo for the entire day.

Other than filing a complaint, what remedies do I have? What do you think SQ would do to compensate for this? Thx.
