This loop includes the pleasant town of Snohomish, noted for its numerous antique shops, followed by a drive down the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley. Stops could include the pleasant country town of Duvall and Carnation Farms, original home of the Carnation corporation. Snoqualmie Falls in April can be anywhere from wonderful to downright scary; the town of Snoqualmie hosts a regional railway (probably not operating in April) but you can see a LOT of old train cars and locomotives on the road between the falls and the town. In neighboring North Bend, you can have a piece of cherry pie and a damn fine cup of coffee at Twede's, made famous in Twin Peaks, or save your appetite and enjoy a good burger, shake, and utter sensory overload at the Triple XXX root beer drive-in in Issaquah on the way back to town. This is a great springtime loop from Seattle.
