I have on, at least one occasion, brought someone else's bag through security for one reason or another, in addition to my own. It probably looked bad, but when we met up I handed it off and we were both legal at that point.
I get bringing other people’s things, this guy still had it all, luckily the Q400 was only half full. Obviously it didn’t phase the gate agents
