It’s almost as if there is a correlation between 1) the gutting of flight frequencies from MSP/DTW over the last few years, and 2) increased number of operational meltdowns for Delta.

Maybe being able to connect somewhere besides ATL or LGA for domestic flights was useful for redundancy after all.
