However on Flightradar24, only 1 of the last four flights have used a refitted aircraft. Maybe AF are hoping to have more refits completed by June. Really hoping they don’t swap to the NEV4 version days before I go.
I’ve looked at changing to a Haneda flight, which seems to use either 777-200s or the 4 class 777-300, but prices have shot up dramatically since I booked, so it would literally cost thousands to change.
I honestly didn’t even know they still used the NEV4 planes on “premium” routes like Tokyo or Singapore.
ps Do you think they removed the “inflight services section” of your booking summary if there is any chance your flight will be served by a NEV4, to stop people claiming compensation for an equipment swap?
It seems to me that all flights planned with the new cabin don’t have anything on that section so it does not mean it ll get changed, I have the same thing on 2 ICN flights planned with the new cabin. You just have to wait and hope it does not get changed but don’t get your hopes very high and hopefully worse case scenario is you ll get BEST cabin because there won’t be a lot of NEV 4 left by then.
