Just to dampen expectations, developing and deploying a First Class seat takes several years depending on the level of customisation, features and certification challenges. If they start today it could be at least 2027 if not later before the seats will be in place.

If they take an off the shelf seat used by an existing airline on the A380 upper deck with a similar footprint to the existing seat and it being non-exclusive to that airline and with minimal customisation it could maybe be a 2 year process if they were lucky, and even so it would come up as an expensive 8 dollar figure program.

The only realistic things I can see for a 3 year remaining service life is updating the soft product and maybe upgrading the Internet speeds. They announced a program to upgrade the internet just before COVID hit.
