Which city would it be more recommended to use points vs cash (airbnb)?

In terms of value, we could get a higher cpp at Tokyo at the AC Ginza for 157k points ($600/night) vs the Meridien in Seoul at 134k points ($330/night).

The airbnb prices between the two cities are about the same.

We were originally thinking airbnb in Tokyo given all the options to purchase supermarket goods and cook at the airbnb.

What are others experience and suggestion like? We've been to tokyo before but will be first time in Seoul.
