If I may offer an opposing opinion, HR BKK is a hotel where Globalists almost always get an upgrade to at least deluxe room, and those are so spacious (more than what many hotels call suites) that it's a hotel where I am not too bummed if I don't score a complimentary upgrade at check-in; I can live with it. In other words, this is a hotel where I am willing to roll the dice and I would rarely use a TSU, instead I keep TSUs for hotels where I really don't want to be stuck in a non-suite.
