Even with a green card, PRC Passport holders will need to have 大通证 + 签注 to fly directly from Mainland China to Taiwan. Supposedly this was not an issue before March 2023.

OP is not trying to enter Taiwan. The problem is Mainland China Border Control would not let its passport holders board a nonstop flight to Taiwan without 大通证 + 签注 .
