BA seems to limit Avios gifting to 27,000 Avios per year whilst Qatar seems to have a limit of 250,000. If I want to move this many of my wife’s BA Avios to my BA account, can I do this as follows - transfer 250k of her BA Avios to a mirror account with Qatar, gift these 250k to my mirror account, transfer the 250k back to my BA account? Has anyone tried this?

Note, Im aware that I could set up a BA household account instead, but not sure I want to do that given I can only then book redemptions for 6 friends and family. Im also GGL, so it always makes sense to book redemptions from my account to ensure free cancellation if plans change. My wife has far more Avios than me as a result 😊
