Applied at SF consulate today for L visa (US passport)
Waited 3.25 hours in line with an appointment. Then dropped off all of the paperwork which took about 5 minutes, total 3.5 hours.
The security guard said that Monday-Wednesday they follow appointment times and Thursday and Friday is a free for all.
The consulate official said that they will apply for 10 year L visa but ultimate decision is up to the consulate.
2 week turnaround, would not let me do express processing.
Fee is still $140 pay on pickup
