He said that AA did a schedule change and Iberia did not update the ticket (reissued the ticket) with the new flight number. They refused to check us in and we lost the flight.
The flight was very full and it really looked like they were finding an excuse to bump us.

Of course now Iberia is saying the reservation was fine and just told me to go to the web site and send a complain.
Did the flight number in the original reservation match the flight number as flown?
Have etickets? A hard copy print out helps a lot
IB may have changed the reservation and you did not get/not read the change.
