Iberia Avios used for AA Metal / PROBLEM
Hello everyone,
So, 9 months ago I bought 3 tickets using Avios to fly from Honduras to Miami / the flight is on AA metal.
Today, when we went to the airport, the check in agent said that the flight number in the original reservation didn't match the current flight number. He said that AA did a schedule change and Iberia did not update the ticket (reissued the ticket) with the new flight number. They refused to check us in and we lost the flight.
The flight was very full and it really looked like they were finding an excuse to bump us.
Anyone has similar experience?
Of course now Iberia is saying the reservation was fine and justtold me to go to the web site and send a complain.
